Hi, I’m Erika!
I have been a photographer for almost 24 years and I still love it just as much as I did on day one! I am married and have three amazing adult kids in their twenties. They are all starting their lives in their own ways and I love watching them grow! At home I also have two dogs and a fish who keep life fun and a little silly every single day!
I absolutely love being outdoors. Give me kayaking or rock hunting or hiking or just wandering around in the fresh Pacific Northwest air and I am happy. The weather here and the natural beauty all around us inspire me so much and help me create photos that feel real and full of life.
I am also a photography teacher at the Vancouver School of Arts and Academics where I teach seventh through twelfth grade and get to help the next generation of photographers grow. It is truly one of the best parts of my life!
I photograph pretty much everything but my heart is especially in weddings, families, and seniors. I want every session to feel relaxed and fun and full of good energy. My goal is to make your day awesome and to give you photos that you will love for years!
